Teams

Software development outsourcing with accountability you can hold

Outsourcing goes wrong in predictable ways: unclear scope, rotating staff, and a codebase you cannot take elsewhere. We remove all three contractually before the first sprint.

Outcomes

  • Scope and price agreed before engineering starts
  • Full IP transfer and repository access from day one
  • The same engineers for the length of the engagement
  • An exit path that does not hold you hostage

Teams

Where it is used

Full project delivery

End-to-end from discovery to launch and support.

Overflow capacity

A parallel stream while your internal team holds the core.

Long-term partnership

Multi-year ownership of a product line.

What we deliver

  • Fixed-scope or dedicated-capacity engagements
  • European working hours and on-site workshops
  • Multilingual delivery across 12 languages
  • Security and compliance review before onboarding
  • Documented architecture and handover packs

Who this is for

  • Companies with a clear operational problem but no internal development capacity to solve it.
  • In-house teams that are fully booked on the core product and cannot absorb a second workstream.
  • Businesses replacing an agency that shipped code nobody can now maintain.

When this is the wrong choice

  • Buyers looking purely for the lowest hourly rate — we are not the cheapest option on the market.
  • Teams that want bodies to manage themselves without any product decision-making on your side.

Problems this solves

Hiring takes longer than the project

A senior developer takes three to six months to hire in most European markets. Outsourcing puts a working team on the problem in weeks, and you are not carrying the headcount after launch.

The last supplier left no documentation

Undocumented code is the most common reason a rebuild costs more than the original build. We document architecture, data model and deployment as part of delivery, not as an extra.

Nobody owns the outcome

Staffing marketplaces hand you people. We take a scoped outcome with an agreed definition of done, so there is one accountable party when something slips.

Architecture and integration

  • Your cloud account and your repositories from day one — no supplier-owned hosting lock-in.
  • Standard, boring technology choices that a future in-house team can pick up.
  • Integrations behind explicit interfaces so a swapped ERP or CRM does not force a rewrite.
  • Automated tests on the paths that carry money or stock, not blanket coverage targets.

How delivery runs

  1. 01

    Discovery and scope

One to two weeks of workshops on the actual workflow, the systems involved and the data. Output is a written scope, a risk list and an indicative band — before any contract for build.

  2. 02

    Architecture and plan

Data model, integration boundaries, environments and a phased plan with the first usable release identified explicitly.

  3. 03

    Build in two-week increments

Working software at the end of each increment on a staging environment you can use, with a demo and a written change log.

  4. 04

    Handover

Source in your repository, infrastructure in your accounts, runbooks written, and a support arrangement only if you want one.

Realistic timeline

Weeks 1–2

Discovery, scope and estimate band.

Weeks 3–10

First usable release covering the primary workflow, running on staging with real data.

Weeks 10–20

Secondary workflows, integrations, migration and go-live.

Build or buy

Buy something existing when

  • Your process is genuinely standard and a mainstream product covers it
  • You need something running this month
  • Budget is below the cost of a serious discovery

Build custom when

  • The process is the competitive advantage
  • You are paying for licences and still running the real work in spreadsheets
  • Integrations between existing systems are the actual problem

We will say so in discovery when an off-the-shelf product is the better answer. That conversation is cheaper for both of us than a project that should not have started.

What moves the price

Number of integrated systems

Each external system adds mapping, error handling and a test environment to obtain. Two integrations is normal; six changes the shape of the project.

Data quality in the legacy source

Clean exports are cheap. Inconsistent historic data is the single most common budget overrun, so we survey it during discovery.

Compliance scope

GDPR documentation, audit trails, retention rules and role models take real engineering time and are quoted separately from features.

Where projects go wrong

Scope drift

Handled with a fixed first release and a written change log; anything new is estimated and scheduled rather than absorbed silently.

Key-person dependency

At least two engineers know every part of the system, and the documentation is written for someone who was never on the project.

Indicative budget

from
€25,000 per project
typical
€7,500 / month per dedicated engineer

Both models quoted against the same scope so you can compare.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

Where does the team sit?+

Distributed across Europe, working European hours, with travel for workshops and key milestones.

Fixed price or time and materials?+

Fixed price when scope is knowable, capacity-based when it is genuinely exploratory. We will say which fits.

You already have the idea. Let's define what comes next.
